Design an eight page magazine layout. Include a cover, a masthead, an half page advertisement, a table of contents, two department pages, a feature spread and a back cover advertisement. Make a title, an archetype of who your readers are, and a media kit for the magazine. Utilize grids and margins to make the frame of the magazine. Include page furniture to keep the format consistent throughout. Layout using InDesign. Use correct Photoshop file preparation processes to ensure the high quality imagery.

I created an outdoor magazine titled Balter Magazine. It is targeted at millennial, outdoor enthusiasts of the Western US demographic. The Spring 2016 issue focuses on nature driven adventures in the Southwest, and showcases only my photography. I chose to use a clean, simple, and yet bold design aesthetic.
