Global product marketing

CHALLENGE
As the 2019 Global Product Marketing Assistant for Roxy, I was able to gain professional experience in many different areas of the Roxy Marketing Department. My responsibilities included, communicating with Regional Product Managers to select all seasonal marketing products, coordinating style books and catalogs, preparing all product for photoshoots, assisting and leading photoshoots in studio and on location. In addition, I was tasked with model scouting and shoot location scouting, in alignment to the brand, budget and calendar. This position required incredible attention to detail, the ability to oversee at times 250+ products per season, regular communication with the Marketing Team, the Product Design Team, the Photo Studio, the Warehouse, and the Regional Product Managers, as well as the ability to source out of house talent for photoshoots.
PROCESS
The time spent at Roxy in the Boardriders European Headquarters in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, France was an incredibly informative and immersive. I gained an in depth understanding of the processes of the lifestyle fashion industry. Working in French and English and with colleagues from around the world was a challenging yet incredible learning experience.

Having the opportunity to work abroad for an international company whose values of women's empowerment, sustainability, and a healthy lifestyle I share, was an incredible opportunity.
Experience
The collection featured below was produced during my role at Roxy. I was able to assist with everything from choosing the products, to preparing them, to coordinating the shoots, scouting and booking both of the models pictured Grace & Laura, assisting during the photoshoots in studio and on location, and coordinating the layout and images of the catalog.
